Founded in Brooklyn in 2016, we build custom 3D software for the companies that make the world's machines — helping them cut operational costs and drive faster sales cycles.
A real look at the studio — the loft, the green-screen stage and the waterfront it sits on.
Behind The Scenes ↗We are a team of developers and artists specialised in 3D software — training programs, remote service support, virtual showrooms, full-scale physics simulations, factory tours and other immersive experiences.
We collaborate with Original Equipment Manufacturers across manufacturing and construction. Our projects range from immersive 3D product showcases to advanced operational training simulators — always built from our clients' real CAD and engineering data.
Nova started in Brooklyn in 2016 as a small crew of engineers, designers and producers who believed XR belonged in industry, not just entertainment — that the same technology built for games could put a buyer inside a machine long before it ever ships, or put a technician beside an expert who's thousands of miles away. That belief took us from live 3D production work into full engineering pipelines for OEMs, and in 2022 opened a second studio in Bologna, Italy, to work closer to our European manufacturing partners.
We're still a small, senior team by design — every project is built hands-on by the people who scoped it, not handed down a chain.
A tight, senior team spanning real-time 3D, simulation engineering, technical art and industrial UX — working between Brooklyn and Bologna.
Unity & Unreal developers who turn CAD into optimised, interactive real-time worlds.
Retopology, materials and lighting that keep machines faithful and fast in a headset.
Full-scale physics and machine behaviour for training that reflects the real thing.
Interfaces designed for operators, dealers and buyers — not gamers.
Pipeline automation and AI that speed up CAD conversion and content updates.
Producers who scope, cost and land projects with OEM and enterprise teams.
We run apprenticeships and XR learning programs for the next generation of immersive developers. If you want to build real things for real industry, we'd love to hear from you.
